Product Advantages

Innovative Design for Integration and Flexibility

The structural design of this ate test board manufacturer product incorporates multiple layers finely tuned for electrical performance and mechanical stability. Its modular approach allows adaptation across diverse test environments supporting different chip types and configurations. By combining high-density routing with low-noise considerations, the board ensures precise functionality and compatibility with automatic test equipment pcb systems. Immersion Gold surface finishing enhances contact reliability, reducing wear during repeated probing cycles. The integration-focused architecture enables coherent system operation that supports complex test array implementations without compromising signal fidelity.

Optimized Testing Performance and Operational Efficiency

From a performance standpoint, the chip test pcb delivers consistent low electrical interference, a prerequisite for accurate semiconductor device characterization. Its robust construction and surface technology reduce signal degradation, improving test repeatability and data reliability. The multilayer layout also facilitates thermal management vital during high-current and high-frequency assessments. Additionally, the design supports straightforward installation and maintenance, minimizing downtime in production lines. By enabling comprehensive chip testing with precision, this solution advances overall yield management and accelerates product qualification processes, delivering clear industrial value to automatic test equipment pcb users.

Semiconductor Industry Complete Process

All semiconductor products go through three core industrial links:
  1. IC Design
  2. Wafer Manufacturing
  3. Chip Packaging

Two Core Test Nodes for All Chips

  1. CP (Chip Probing)
    Also known as the probe test stage, testing is performed on bare wafers before packaging.
  2. FT (Final Test)
    Finished product testing after chip packaging. Test methods and standards vary significantly according to different chip types.

Common Chip Classification

  1. Analog Chip
    Uses continuous analog signals as the core, serving as the perception interface for physical quantities such as sound, light, electricity and temperature in the physical world.
  2. Digital Chip
    Transmits data through discrete digital signals, represented by microprocessors, logic chips, etc.
  3. Mixed-Signal Chip
    Integrates analog circuit and digital circuit functions, such as DSP, SoC and mainstream composite control chips.
  4. Memory / High-Speed Bus Chip
    With complex test items and special high-frequency, high-speed and high-current customized test requirements.

CHIPTEST

Test chip

Composition of Chip Test System

  1. Tester (ATE host equipment)
  2. DIB / Probe Card (interface board and probe fixture)
  3. Handler (automatic sorting and feeding equipment)
  4. Test Software (developed with exclusive languages and modules for different equipment platforms)

Working Principle of Chip Test System

  1. The ATE tester outputs standard excitation signals and test patterns according to the compiled test program, and inputs them into the DUT (device under test);
  2. The chip feeds back corresponding output signals according to inherent logic and functional characteristics;
  3. The test system compares the actual output data with the pre-set standard threshold;
  4. Products within the tolerance range are judged as qualified, and out-of-spec products are marked as failed;
  5. Graded Bin testing is implemented within the qualified error range to classify product performance;
  6. The full-coverage test is completed by adjusting parameters such as voltage, current and timing, to realize chip debugging, parameter characterization and mass screening.

Taking Memory IC as an Example: Standard Test Items

DC Parameter Test

Open/short circuit detection of signal pins and power pins, standby current, operating ICC current and leakage current testing.

AC Parameter Test

Core timing indicators such as TCAC (column access time).

Timing Test
