2. System PCBA Hardware Design

The FPGA multi-data acquisition and recording system is composed of one main control card and three data acquisition cards, with clear division of functions and close coordination to ensure stable and efficient data acquisition and storage.

2.1 Main Control Card Design

The main control card serves as the core of the entire data acquisition system, undertaking key functions including long-line communication with the ground measurement and control station, data transmission control of each data acquisition card, data forwarding, and memory control. It realizes unified management and scheduling of the entire system, ensuring the synchronization and reliability of data transmission between modules.

2.2 Data Acquisition Card Design

The three data acquisition cards are responsible for analog signal collection, with a total acquisition capability of 72 analog signals (24 signals per acquisition card). The FPGA chip in each data acquisition card controls the multi-channel switch of the control module according to the address jumper module, selecting one of the 24 analog signals to be converted into a digital signal by a 16-bit A/D converter.

After the signal acquisition of each channel is completed, the collected data is transmitted to the main control card through the three-way stackable internal bus in accordance with the receiving sequence and handshake signal. The FPGA main control module of the main control card then performs unified framing processing on the data, which is subsequently transmitted to the memory, completing the entire data acquisition and storage process.

2.3 Multi-Channel Analog Switch Selection & Design

The switching control of the multi-channel analog switch is a key link in the design of the data acquisition card. Each data acquisition card needs to simultaneously collect 24 analog signals with different frequency characteristics, which requires high-precision and high-accuracy control of the sampling channel address switching and selection, putting forward strict requirements for the hardware and software design of the PCBA.

In the hardware design of the PCBA, the ADG706 analog switch chip is adopted. This chip supports 16-channel signal selection; since each acquisition card needs to cover 24 channels, two ADG706 chips are configured per acquisition card, providing a total switching capacity of 16×2=32 channels, which fully meets the PCB design requirements of 24-channel acquisition and ensures stable and reliable channel switching.
